Ronan Coleman has worked as a composer in Ireland and New York for over a decade. His music is featured internationally in advertising, film and television.


A graduate of the Irish College of Music, Coleman began scoring for TV and film in 1994. He has scored numerous TV shows and has worked both as a composer and location sound recordist with award winning directors Kim Bartley "Far Away Up Close", Ruán Magan "The Global Nomad Series", Adam Feinstein "Hoodwink". For ABC he scored the Emmy nominated "Last Days On Earth". As co-composer with creative partner Augustus Skinner, Coleman scored Adria Petty's documentary on Paris Hilton 'Paris Not France' for MTV Networks.

Coleman has written music for many successful commercial campaigns, including Friskies, Betty Crocker, Jameson Whiskey, Lufthansa Airlines, Smirnoff Vodka and the European Environmental Agency.

Under the monker Crispin Thump as co-producer and co-writer with Augustus Skinner on Jasper James' solo debut, the Crispin Thump team hit the No. 5 spot with James' single "It's On" (2009) on Billboard's Break Out Dance Charts. In addition "It's On" became the theme for the NBA sponsored Kia Motors ad campaign for 2011. The same creative team took home the award for Outstanding Hip Hop/Rap Song for Jasper James' "Rocket" at the OUT Music Award (2009).
